Recognised Prior Learning

Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) is an acknowledgement of expertise and professionalism for what you have already achieved in the Financial Services industry. Loan writers who have for 2 of the past 5 years in Finance/Mortgage Broking, written Mortgage OR Plant, Equipment, Motor Vehicle, Commercial Loans OR are Mortgage Managers, can apply for RPL. Similarly, those involved for 5 of the past 8 years in Financial Planning can opt for the RPL course to achieve a Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma Level qualification. In completing an RPL application your knowledge and case study file meets the required criteria without the need for further study or examination. Successful applicants will be awarded the appropriate qualification. You are invited to contact us should you require any further explanation or information.

AAMC is also a participating Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in National Recognition. This means that those students who produce evidence (Statement of Attainment) of previous completed studies with another RTO can receive National Recognition. However the module subject Course Codes on their Statements of Attainment must match the Course Codes applicable to those being offered by AAMC for the student to gain National Recognition.

AAMC 'Green Initiatives' to support our world

AAMC acknowledges that we – and all organizations – must take our environmental responsibilities seriously and provide sustainable solutions for future generations.

We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint, encouraging and supporting initiatives from customers and employees alike to further reduce the impact our operation has on the environment.

Commencing 2009, AAMC Training Group plan to demonstrate our commitment to the environment by supporting Carbon Neutral with a pledge to plant a tree for each student undertaking one of our certified face-to-face or correspondence courses.

Trees absorb carbon dioxide while they grow as well as help combat salinity, reduce soil erosion, clean underground water systems and provide habitat for wildlife.

Other internal initiatives include:

- All our course manuals are printed on recycled paper

- Our internal waste (plastics, paper, etc.) is segregated and sent for recycling

- Using energy saving globes for our lighting

- Switching lights off in unoccupied areas of the building

- Offering the option of on-line courses to reduce paper usage

- Collection and recycling of all empty toner cartridges

- Online and correspondence courses available reducing the need to travel.

- Regular discussions on environmental issues at all levels throughout the business to drive thought, leadership and enterprise-wise
action plans.

Jeff Mazzini (FAIBF, FTIA, FPNA, GAICD, AMIAA, CFP, FFBAA)

Jeff has worked within the financial services industry for the past 40 years, holding positions at all levels including experience in managing large teams, sales and marketing, commercial lending, retail, risk management, financial planning, credit risk management and international import/export positions – both in Australia and overseas.

As a result of this extensive experience, Jeff is now consulting to many Financial Service Groups and assisting them to grow and prosper.

In 2001, Jeff realised his dream of starting a training company where he could utilise his wealth of experience to assist others wishing to develop themselves.

Jeff’s strengths include a creative and visionary approach to business development – the real driving force behind the success and growth of AAMC Training Group.
Jeff’s focus has always been providing solutions to meet the customer’s needs.

This, combined with his immense experience in people management, has afforded him the skills to build a passionate team at AAMC that strives to achieve excellence in service to its customers.

Jeff is a sessional member of the Western Australian State Administration Tribunal and also an international speaker.
